Medical Gross Anatomy Learning Resources
The University of Michigan Medical School

Announcements Welcome Class of 2013. This summer, we are working on several new projects designed to help you learn gross anatomy. We are refining the prelab learning modules for each dissection lab, as well as the radiology learning modules for each sequence.

Visit the virtual tour of the Anatomy facilities to become familiar with our area. Review the Introduction to Gross Anatomy to learn how we approach gross anatomy instruction here at the University of Michigan Medical School.

We will have an Introduction to Gross Anatomy on Monday, August 24, at 1pm. Here, we will discuss the emotions and ethics involved in anatomical donation and human dissection, and you will be introduced to your lab partners, with whom you will be working for the succeeding eight months.

Before our first lab session on September 1, please review the web materials for Superficial Back. Also, review the Learning Modules entitled "Anatomical Orientation" and "Introduction to the Nervous System".
